Was really nice area to stay lovely feild views to wake up to Negative: The response from the owner or customer helpline as when I 1st arrived the place wasn't cleaned so I done the cleaning myself to a standard that was acceptable

Take your own towels, bedding and toilet paper Positive: The sofa was large and comfortable - depsite being stained. 4 large double bedrooms even through the advert suggests it's a one bed property Negative: Unfortunately, this property was a real disappointment. When I originally booked, the listing appeared to be for a modern one-bedroom property for a business trip. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find that it was actually a four-bedroom semi-detached house on a relatively modern estate, although parts of the surrounding development still appeared unfinished. The property itself had plenty of potential, but the standard of cleanliness and preparation was extremely poor. There were three toilets in the house, but not a single roll of toilet paper was provided. There was also no kitchen roll, no tea towels and no soap in the kitchen. I eventually found a nearly empty bottle of soap in one of the bathrooms. The towels smelled very musty and did not appear fresh or properly cleaned. Some were also stained, which made me uncomfortable using them. The garden was another major disappointment. Previous reviews had already mentioned its condition, but the grass was extremely long and weeds were growing throughout. This was a shame, as the property has a beautiful view and lovely sunsets in the evening. There was no garden furniture, and three outdoor bins were overflowing with rubbish and surrounded by flies. They appeared not to have been emptied for a considerable amount of time. My biggest concern was the bedding. I had seen a previous review mentioning that another guest had needed to purchase their own bedding because the beds had not been properly cleaned. Unfortunately, when I pulled back the covers in the main bedroom, the sheets were visibly stained and did not appear freshly laundered. I checked the other bedrooms and found that much of the bedding smelled as though it had already been slept in. I eventually slept in the smallest bedroom, as it appeared to be the cleanest option available. This property could be so much better, but basic standards such as fresh bedding, clean towels, essential toiletries and rubbish removal need urgent attention. It w

Nice property but let down by being poorly managed and not cleaned Positive: The property is really lovely, nice and modern Negative: It’s not the property itself I didn’t like, it was the fact that the beds were all disheveled and had clearly been slept in and not changed or attempted to be made, a pile of wet towels were in the bathroom and some other bits, there was used sanitary towels in the bin also, I had to go to Asda and buy clean sheets and towels to use, was told that the cleaning fee would be refunded but never received anything at all back
